Our maternity photoshoot with Lori Dorman Photography was such an amazing experience from beginning to end. From the very first correspondence, communication was quick, easy and seamless. They went above and beyond including so many more looks than we were expecting. My hair & makeup were outstanding, I felt like the prettiest version of myself and I haven't looked that good since my wedding! Not to mention our photographer Jasmin and her assistant for the day, who is also a photographer, made my husband and I feel confident and gorgeous which made all the difference. Turnaround for photos was so fast and having a review session with Michelle to narrow our photos down for our album was invaluable. This is my 2nd time using Lori Dorman Photography. First time we did a maternity session, and the second time around 4 years later we did a family photo shoot. Both times went better than expected. We never felt rushed or uneasy whether we were going to get a least one great picture. All of the staff are amazing and welcoming. They all contacted me via text or by phone to make us aware of what was going to happen the day of the shoot. Norma did my hair & makeup. I gave her one pic of a style I liked and let her do her thing with my makeup, she did not disappoint! Drea and her assistant took our pictures.
I have a 4 year old with autism and a 2 year old battling cancer and they were so patient with us, giving the kids time to relax, eat and take as many breaks as they needed.
When it was time to see the edited pictures I was a little nervous because I knew I was going to have trouble picking just a few, but Michelle helped me break it down to the best ones and offered different options as far as payments and the different packages available. I highly recommend doing a payment plan before the photo shoot so it's not so hard on your pocket. It can get pricey but definitely WORTH EVERY PENNY. Thank you all for always going above and beyond for us. We will be back again when our daughter beats this cancer for a victory photoshoot!

This is my third photoshoot with LDP, 1 maternity and 2 newborn, and there’s many reasons I keep coming back. Everything from makeup/hair, outfit/gown selections, shoot, and photo selection runs smooth and really eases a pregnant/postpartum mamas mind. Melinna and Jasmin are excellent photographers. They provided great direction to me and my family, taking time to set up each shot and paying great attention to detail. They did this while also keeping my 4 yo son entertained, catching some excellent shots while doing so. The photo selection process is so hard because literally, almost every photo is perfect, but Michelle really helps you narrow down your selection during the editing process which the final edits are always so amazing.
